i have an indash dvd player/motorized screen and the when i put the cd in, it wont take it in the whole way, also when i hit eject it will eject but then makes a click, click , click noise after the cd has ejected. it sounds like a gear is out of place or something. does this ring any bells can i service my self? im pretty technicaly capable as long as it was a readjustment. any ideas?

i would take it to a tech if i were u. or send it out for warranty if such still applies. it is more than likly a micro switch or even possibly the servo board that controls all the motorized good. so just try to resist the urge to fiddle with it cause that feeling when we make things worst than they were realy sucks. lol.

If it doesn't take it in all the way, and when ejects it keeps trying sounds most likely you skipped a couple teeth might have jammed for a quick second on ya without realizing it sometimes easy fix if ya are good with that stuff, like mentioned above if in warranty take it to them.
