I have a nice DD 1512 SVC 4 ohm sub that is in it's proper box, and it pounds like crazy. I am very happy with it. I was originally powering it with a Phoenix Gold 1200.1 Xenon amp, which runs 1200w in 4 ohm.
I had originally planned on building a box with 2 of these subs, that's why I went with 4 ohm, they were meant to be bridged down to 2 ohm. I have trunk space limitations, so decided to just go with 1 sub right now.
My Phoenix Gold blew, and I was looking at other options, like another amplifier similar to that one that may be out there, that could power my sub.
Are there any other mono amps out there that are good power like 1200+ w into 4 ohms that I can look at buying?
Depending on how much this amp will cost, I want to see what my options are.

Hey man I have another xenon 1200.1 if interested or how about a jl 1000/1? You could always find a high powered 2 chan and bridge it to get 1000+ @4ohm...
What are you doing with your old xenon? I might be interested in it
