New to Car Audio, Would Welcome Advice

Hello, I am looking at adding subwoofers to my car. I have decided on two r. I am looking for an amplifier to go with them and I was reading it was best to use a 2 channel, bridged amp. Is this true? If so, I found Planet Audio's https://www.planetaudiousa.com/auto/car-audio-sound-system-auto-2-channel-amplifier-planet-audio-ac2000-2/. Would this work for these subwoofers? I believe the wiring for this system would look a little like this?

Also, if either of these products are bad, please let me know, or if you have suggestions for different subs or a different amp, I'd really appreciate it!

Hi, welcome to the forum.

So pioneer is a good brand name. Lots of years experience snd they are a huge company lots of money for r and d... they dont really make say competition line stuff but for the average customer they are a go to brand. Planet Audio is part of the Boss company. I call em a budget brand. Do not expect the same r and d and dont expect the products to actually do what they claim. I actually bought a PA 3000 watt amp rms rated and got about 1500 watts out of it right at clipping. I used a scope, volt meter and amp meter to test. Try to find CEA ratings they are more realistic then rms and max is basically a made up number... lol to make it even simpler stick with brand names like... jbl, kenwood, alpine, pioneer, mtx, rockford fosgate, jl, ect... the only budget stuff i can recommend for amps is Rockville. But beware... even there stuff is kinda hit or miss. At least they provide cea ratings and they come with a tested ratings birth certificate. I have bought 3 amps from them and all did what the paper claimed. But 2 had problems when they were bridged together. And it took a month to exchange the new amps from them. I hear good things about hifonics. But never tried them personally. I would buy the pioneer smps to go with the subs if it was me.
