New Deck Suggestions....

Im looking for a new deck my good old Panasonic CQ-DFX501U crapped out, So im looking for something that I can play Mp3's off a disk with and XM radio ready possibly. XM ready isnt that big of a deal I have my Inno in my car right now but if the right unit is a good price and is XM ready then I thought Id kill 2 birds with one stone.

My budget is $300-$350....any help would be great guys. Thanks

This is just a suggestion..
Perhaps you could pick out a few different brands you may be interested in one afternoon, then go to a few car audio places to check out the decks they have. This way you can compare options, prices, and personal opinions from dealers, other customers etc.. Then when you have a few narrowed down you can come on here and get more opinions or even search for reviews of those products online.

Personally, if I were you, I would go for Alpine, Pioneer, or eclipse in that price range with mp3 capability, but that's just me.

Check out the new line of clarion decks. Within that price range you can get a deck with the same specs as any of the alpines, pioneer, and eclipse and maybe have some money to spare for lunch!

2001 av has the alpine 9857 or 9885, both for 299.99. They do better prices if you buy more and bargan.

I tried the pm route but your box is full, please clear the sent items and inbox for you PM's.

At the upper range of your budget is the Eclipse CD4000 (inc. tax and shipping as well). It will offer performance not found in any other cd player I stock or could purchase on your behalf.

5 volt 55 ohm preouts x 3
AUX input (for your existing XM radio so you can go direct, no fm modulator)
MP3
Sirius radio ready
remote control
tonal response that rivals other equipment
1 year replacement if stolen guarantee

A little cheaper is the Pioneer equipment, I have a couple of the higher end Premiere models to clear out as well if that interests you. The Pioneer units are good unis, comparable to many other lines out there, just not a Eclipse. Pioneer models to clear right now are the Premiere DEHP5480MP, DEHP580MP and DEHP680MP. Pioneer units are XM / Sirius ready.
