Due to lack of reliable timing part suppliers ED is abandoning the flat cone design on all but the O series.

Hopefully they will improve on the e15a problems and make a e15k again.

Isn't that what always happens?
Everybody thinks they know everything, and everyone is an expert except for the person actually running the business.

Yeah, I don't like the way some people started in on bashing the ED stuff either.
It was a parts supply issue, not a design flaw.
Even though there are some pretty unhappy A series owners out there.

I personally was never a fan of flat cones... but after all this entrepeneurial stuff we study in school nowadays, I think I have some idea of what exactly those supply issues could have done to eD's bottom line.
I am looking forwards to the new cones, if they are so revolutionary. That thread, even though it really had little to do with the first post, was pretty interesting
if i had enough dough laying around I'd get into the subwoofer business.

When I owned my 2 15k's, not only did they take some good shat and abuse but they sounded awsome and still perform great to this day.
