im going to soon be installing 1 pioneer champion in a custom enclousre with a 800w amp =):).Heres my question.Im building a box with 1.99 cubic feet.Are these good dimensions for this box?

hight=16inches
width=21 inches
depth=13 inches

i also read somewhere that when you add the subwoofer and port it takes away some cubic inches?is this true

Welcome to the board....:smilie_da

If you are building with 3/4" MDF, those dims will net you 1.88cuft before woofer and port displacement. You will need to go a little bigger in at least one dimension....:smokin:

Here's a tip for you right off the top......there are a lot of people on here who have years of experience in car audio.......feel free to ask any questions if you are having any problems.

If you need a hand with your enclosure build PM me.........:smokin:

as much as 5/8's isn't much difference i would recomend staying with 3/4 or bigger

did you make it out of 5/8's? i know it's only a 1/8 inch difference but i figure if your buying the material why not spend 2 extra bucks and get the 3/4 ha ha ha
