I currently been out to of the car audio scene for awhile. And I am looking to piece together a new system for my RSX - Type S. And I was wondering what where some new decks that I should check out.

The 5444 and the 8454 are decks that are definantly worth your money, id recommend going for an eclipse, http://www.eclipse-web.com will help you to show all the interesting and really good features that u get with these decks, hava look,

If you are looking at high end

Nakamichi CD 700II (US$1500)
McIntosh Mx406 (US$1300)
Clarion DRZ 9255 (new) (~C$1500)
Pioneer P9 combo(DEX-P9 (HU) & DEQ-P9 (EQ)) (C$2000)
Denon Z1 (very expensive ~C$3000)

RF Platinum units at sounddomain (best bang for the buck) aka Denford US$300.

Denford and Clarion are the best for the money.

Kenwood eXcelon or Alpine are always safe choices.

Pioneer is good if you want decent performance and a tonne of features.

Paul, paul, paul, I am just going to have to put an Eclipse into your car and convert you once and for all. Eclipse is a great cd player as is Nak and Denon (or Denonford)
