New here
Hey new guy here from Ontario. Been into car audio for a little while now. Finally have an ok setup so decided to join
a forum to learn some new stuff. Current setup is:
6.5inch infinity components up front, tweeters mounted in stock tweeter spot in dash, rear speakers are clarions comp level 6x9 components with tweeted mounted as a coaxil. My power, 4 channel jl amp putting a safe 100watts rms to my rears, and 90watts rms up front. Tuned using a multimeter. Sub setup is a mtx Jackhammer in a ported bassworx box. It's a dvc 4ohm sub wired to 2ohms running off an old kicker 250.2 amp. Something like 250watts going to my sub. Deck is a kenwood excelon with 4volt preouts. I built and installed it all myself on a college student budget. I've just got a few questions to due with the tuning options in my deck. I have bass center frq setting, bass q factor and bass ext as well as mid center frq and mid q factor, also have treble center frq. No idea what any of those mean or do. Looking for a good explaination and what should I set it all too or is it personal preference ? Any help would be awesome. Thanks and sorry for such a long post.
