Hi all. I have a 96 Civic I just bought, and I want to get a radio/cd/mp3 player installed.

For my last car, I went to a very reputable downtown car/audio dealer and they installed a good quality low end unit for $300. (It is now gone with that car.)

I'm thinking this time around, though, I don't need to spend that much. I don't use the car much, and the speakers in it are fine. Should I try to find a used unit along with a dealer to install it?

Any suggestions/directions would be most appreciated. (Sad to say, I know next to nothing about audio and installation, save how to pay for a unit and installation.)

you best bet would be to find a used one and you can get it install for $70 or so...

 

what shop did you get your old system installed...
