new installers from hell!

Why does it take longer to fix someones bad install than doing it right? Its kinda like this wierd karma thing

It takes longer to fix the "bad" install because you spent some much time wondering WTF the Guy was thinking durning the first install.
I am a big fan of just ripping it all out and starting from scratch. (Holmes on Homes stole that from me)

hes not an installer by profession so much as an installer by ego, ive dealt with three F ups of his lately...hes a back yard butching young kid who "helps" his buddys out with their installs...it was one of the worst ive seen. It was an old f-150 redneck limo anyways this kid had an old no name 2 channel for 6x9's and a legacy "1600" watt rms amp for his jensen or other named comparable subs (quality with a K rob likes to say ) other then many minor yet stupid shortcuts my favorite was the 8 gauge power wire cut with no wire exposed, a screw drilled through it, and right to the thin, non sanded, sheet metal at the back of the box, both amps grounded the same about 3 feet appart, sub and rear channel rcas y cabled to the rear inputs on the deck, amps stacked and black taped so they wouldnt shift around...one of those had to see moments as well but im sure u get the drift

Since this is the VOID, who is in favour of POSTING these Kuaility Installs???
I would suggest that only a pic of the install is taken and no identifing markings such as the Plate or outside of the car. A pic is a thousand words.
Thoughts?

Lol
I always "break in" the new guys.....wait til they have to screw an amp or something in, close to an outer panel.
Cut the head off a screw, add a bit of dum dum and affix the "protruding" screw to the outer sheet metal.
Wait for the right moment, and with a bit of theatrics.....point it out to them.....the look on their face is priceless, and they always check their screw lengths forever after.
And no....i never had any friends when i was a kid hehehe.
