I started my new kicks this week, been going slow, but I figured slow is better than my other pace... not at all.

The componants are DLS R6s. which are replacing my planet audio PC58 NEO componants.

here's some pics, let me know what you think.
Just the mounting baffles are finished, but the rest is pretty elementary.

I've used none of the mounting hardware to mount the tweeters, because I want to save it for my next car, for the rear stage.

Those look like they have wicked potential, dude. Keep posting. . .

Nice... never seen tweets done that way before... seems like it limits the positions that you can point them in though...

I like but I am a little worrieed about imaging

hell if they don't sound good which I doubt is the case, they sure look better anything I have seen before.

the "arms" that the tweeters are mounted on aren't fixed into place yet, so they can be adjusted as needed for imagine and staging. that and the tweeters are swivel mount, so they can be fine tuned withon 5 degrees or so each way.

next step is to dismantle the kicks I have now and mount these brackets to the moulds and make new fronts for them.

(low budget project)

Here's some pictorial updates... The old kicks, stripped and ground off, with the new hardware mounted in them, and then the same with the fabric stretched over them (old, UGLY sheet) and then a pic of the componants that are being replaced.
