Speakers running off of an amp

Speakers running off of an amp
I am wondering, I have an Alpine iLX-107 stereo in my truck with an amp, sub and rear speakers. When I adjust the EQ on my head unit will that only be effecting the speakers that are connected to the head unit or will it eq the rear speakers as well which are running off an external amp?
