My brother would like to get a new system for his car. He has a 2001 Honda s2000 with a budget of $500. He would like a new deck that has a line input or ipod controller and also has an adapter for the deck controller on the left side of the car. Good voltages would be a plus with full rca's Its a two seater so maybe some components and a 2 channel amp. Hardly any room for a sub in the trunk so he will pass on the sub for now. Any ideas? thanks and happy thanksgiving

gonna have to cheap out on alot of stuff. honestly in that price range for everything futureshop is prob the way to go

 

look in the for sale section...you can a lot for 500.00 used!

 

energy component, pioneer deck 4100 at least. and a little MTX 2channel amp.. should run under 500.. keep in account the harness, faceplate and antena adapter and wireing kit for the amp

 

i would jsut amp my speakers on the deck and spend the money from the mtx on a sub setup

and he has a s2000 and his stereo budget is $500.....i feel like thats supposed to be a joke....

 

you know now that i think of it... most people who are not audio enlightened (people who will never set foot on an audio forum) usually consider a system to be a deck and subs and they can be happy with it, so for 500 why not jsut a cheap deck cheap subs and box and amp. those exiles from fs are apparently really good and there only 150 each
