I just recieved my new Ohio Generator 200 amp alternator. I took some quick pictures

Regulator

Now i'm wondering how the regulator is wired and how it connects to the alternator
There are 3 terminals (+) (-) (FLD) on the regulator

I'm guessing the (+) connects to the BAT output on the alternator and the (-) connects to a chassy ground. Is that correct?
I have no idea what to do with the (FLD) terminal.

I have installed afew alternators before but none of this calibre with adjustable voltage regulators.

Can someone give me a hand with this setup please.

Connect the positive to switched (+)and (-) to ground, and
connect the feild to the (F)terminal on the alt.If it doesn't have a labeled terminal,it may have a "dummy" regulator which will have the feild terminal in the regulator hole.
