Newbie here - system setup question
 

Let me give you some background so you know what I'm starting with:

I have just picked up a 99 Protege as my a-b (get to work and back ) car. Of course I couldn't leave things stock for long especially as one of the front speakers wasn't working at all. So far I've replaced, the head unit with a Clarion DXZ375MP

The front speakers have been replaced with Surplus brand (name escapes me but their sensitivity is not great and I want to replace them [possibly]) and the rears have been changed for some Rockford Fosgate 6x9's which I got from a member here (thanks Chodoctr).

That's my starting platform - I do own a sub in a box and a cheapie amp but I haven't run any wires yet so they have to wait until springtime :(

My question is this: The car comes with holes for rear door speakers. If I put some speakers in there, how would I power all my speakers? I'm picturing a 4 channel amp, with two channels running the fronts, and the other two channels bridged to run the sub out back. The deck would power the rear doors and the rear 6x9's.

Where should I place the amp itself if that's the way to go? Under the front seat or run everything to the back and come back with wires to the front speakers?

Should I even power the fronts from this amp? Should I use 2 amps (one for fronts one for sub)? Should I bother with the rear door speakers at all?

My budget is not that great, but since I have everything except a 4channel amp and these rear (maybe not needed) speakers the wife won't get too upset :)

Howdy!.....personally I wouldn't worry about the rear speakers at all.
and a nice 4 channel to power the fronts and the sub would work perfectly.

you dont really need the rear speakers unless you wanna be nice to the rear sear passengers and a nice 4 channel will work unless you wanna get loud then you may want to go to a dedicated monoblock but the 4 channel will work fine until your budget allows
