Cool

I'm looking to build a nice startoff system. Nothing major, just lookin' for 2-10" and an amp. Or 1-12" and an amp. I have a pioneer Deck and am lookin' to spend btw $200-$500 for the subs and amp. Any info people could pass along as to a good brand of subs and amps combo would be appreciated. Or if anyone is selling some subs and amps, I'd really appreciate the info.

Thanks

With that budget, id suggest you have a look in the for-sale section.

Don't be nervous about buying off the for sale section, there are alot of reputable guys on here that'd give you great deals. Be careful though and know who your dealing with first.

big-o: I'd suggest going to a dealer that sells lighting audio, they have a great "fast and the furious" package in that price range. 350 I think for 2 12", a 750 watt peak (250 watt RMS) amp, and a box.

I know if I had to do my beginner system again I'd get a 4 channel amp that was bridgeable to 4 ohms and then use it on a sub or two. That way when you're ready to upgrade in the future you have a 4 channel for your components and you can buy a nice mono amp for the subs.
