OMG you are building your car off Newegg lmao

Umm, never heard of that brand and they look highly suspicious for $40 ... that money is better off for used / new gear on eBay.

Side Note: WOW they have an entire section for "Car Electronics" ... guess it's an area they feel they can get sales in. Ah well, good for them.

If those handle a true 1000w peak (a burp from a high end 1000.1 amp) I'll eat the keyboard I'm typing on.

Seriously though, I hope you're joking...

Do you have the amplification in place to power 200w speakers? You do realize that a nice 1000x4 amp to make 200+w RMS speakers sing is pretty pricey right? Or are you running two bridged four channel amps? Also expensive..

May want to elaborate more rather than just "loud speakers"

The number of 'ways' refers to the number of drivers in the assembly. A standard speaker with a woofer and tweeter is a 2way speaker. A woofer, mid, and tweeter would be a 3way speaker. Anything past 3way usually just adds more tweeters and should be avoided.

well, i had 2 120 watt speakers in the front, i was thinking of putting them into my new car, but maybe upgrade to 200 watts, do i REALLY need to use an amp for the speakers? i didnt before.

im running 2 mtx 12's with dual coil, idk if there that great, but if anyone can suggest a better used upgrade please let me know.

IF you buy a speaker that is rated at more watts, it basically means it needs more watts from an amplifier to play and not that it will somehow play more watts.

In actuality, if you want it to be louder without getting an amp, you need more efficient speakers that require less watts.

you REALLY need to use an amp, once you get past the 20-30w mark (Which even at that wattage you need an extremely sensitive and highly efficient speaker) you're putting a lot of strain on your head unit and the internal amp will blow eventually (and probably take the speakers with it, depending on what fuses it uses, if any to protect the output channels).

Once you start adding a 1000w RMS of amplification then you need to start looking at upgrading other things, like the alternator, big three upgrade, a second battery.

You're getting in to a huge can of worms that you clearly know very little about, if it was as simple as putting in 200w speakers to make your car loud/sound good/etc then everyone would do it. You have a lot of reading to do.
