Noob question want more bass up front

What’s up guys!!! In my previous car (2013 Focus ST) I installed 4 Infinity Refrences along with a 10inch Sundown audio sub. The sub absolutely slammed! But the speakers couldn’t handle any bass due to me amplifying them so I had the bass in the speakers turned all the way down. Now here’s were it gets confusing (To me anyways) and sounds dumb, but I felt like all the bass Was coming from behind me. Yes cause the subs in the back lol, But I like to hear the bass through the speakers as well. Would getting better speakers that could handle more bass change this? I was looking at midwoofers and was wondering if that’s what I need in my next build. I just bought and 18 F150 crew and want it to sound like some factory high end systems, like the jeeps with Harman Kardon or Range Rovers Meridian. I know you guys are probably thinking this kid sounds stupid Lol but it’s what I want! I know it’s going to cost me but just seeing what you guys recommend I do. Thank you for reading this long ass post!!!!!

I have found that the acoustics of different vehicles change how the bass gathers in the front. In my experience it seems smaller cabin vehicles such as coupes, the bass gathers closer to the front. Also along with window position, as your car is also a simulated speaker box. I've always felt adding bass to the factory speaker set up was a waste of time, due to the windows and door hardware. It's too much effort to accomplish what a bigger or better sub in a good box can do. I've always set my stock oriented speakers to an HPF @ 150 to 200 hz cut off.
