O/S PPI amp enlightenment
 

Hey guys can anybody fill some gaps (the old grey matter is getting weak on me) I'm tring to remember the order that the PPI amps came out after the arts... I think it was the PC grey color then the chrome correct? Was there a light grey or is that the newwer stuff? Any historical info on them would be great Thanks

The Art, Sedona, Pro Mos were replaced starting in 1996-7 in order by;

1997
All units designated PC except for PRO650 and all were dark gunmetal in colour.

1998
Same PC gunmetal units but it was their 15th anniversary so they offered the PRO650C, PC4100C, PC1400C, PC2150C, and PC2350C as 15th anniversary editions (with the "C" in the model number designating the anniversary chrome edition). The same year they showed us the 2500F1 (drool).

1999
Still designated as PC (with the exception of the PRO6800 which is the same as the PRO650 it replaced) but all amps have a polished finish with the model number in big bold numbers on the top.

After this you get into .2's and PCX's and DCX's but I believe I answered your base question and I'm sleepy so I'm going to bed. Hope this helps your memory and thanks for making me feel as old as I am.
