older hifonics better?

im wondering if the older hifonics where better then the newer stuff? im not talking about to old of stuff but i can get a Hifonics Hercules XI which is 1500rms @1ohm or i can get a newer BXi1606D which is 1600@1ohm...the 1606D is $50 more

Hifonics Generation XI-Hercules Car Audio Amplifier

Hifonics Brutus BXi1606D

think there would be a big difference or jsut go for either one?

the brutus amps aren't that great, if you want a good amp cheap get a crunch ground pounder 3000 pro they are like 550 on ebay and do alot of power
