I have been looking at some of the adaptor's for the ipod to my deck. I’m a little confused about this. If I plug this thing into my cigarette lighter it will play my music? I kind of want good sound quality; it's not a big deal I just like to play my music loud and proud for every one to hear.

There’s this one, it's like 100.00 buck's!!! Kensington Digital FM Transmitter/Auto Charger for iPod

Then there’s those one's that transfer song's via fm radio wave's how dependable are they? I heard some bad reviews about them? I live in a relatively small town (just below 5000). We only get 2-fm stations, but I do tend to drive to the city lots. I know you can use any fm radio station that is not in use, but will it cut out when I’m driving down the highway or in the cities when I pass a tall building? Also if I buy this fm transmitter can I use it on after market and stock decks? Also will it work on any deck? My dad's has a truck from 84 that has a stock deck would it work on that truck? Probably it would cause it can get fm radio wave's.

Sorry if I’m sounding stupid, but I’m use to putting a tape deck into the cassette thing and boom I have music. If any one could enlighten me as to what product would work best for me it would be greatly appreciated.

2 Guys in my office have 40 Gig Ipods with the ITRIP and have the ITRIP tuned to whatever station they chose and when they get in there vehicle they just tune the radio to that station (eg:104.9) and blippity blaow they have tunes.

Simple as that

This is the ITRIP and it just plugs into the top of the Ipod.

FM Transmitters of any sort reduces the quality of the sound. Its like playing a cd vs listening to an FM radio station.

any way i could work around that? i have a set of rca's with the head phone jack in the other end. would that work?

Does you deck have AUX in? If it does then that MIGHT work and it'll be a hell of a lot better than getting radio quality.

If your deck has a BROWN set of RCA;s on the back (Clarion) you have AUX in. Use those.

For MP3 use I would consider that pretty minor.

No matter what you do, I cant see the quality being that great.
