i had to tighten my latch about 3 times this year lol. my hinges are good cause they are not a warped pole like car. its an actual "door" hinge so that wont be damaged. but i did have to tighten those once so far..

just do the maintenance and you will be ok

I run 3-12's, only 2 pair of components and my sound is perfectly even all the way from 1-39 on the volume ****. It has mainly to do with proper amplification, tuning, speaker placement, and your vehicle. As for 1 or 2 subs? Depends on how much power the mids/highs will receive in relation to your sub amp and enclosure output.

Single woofer setups > multiple woofers

it takes up less space, can sound just as loud, and creates a great wow factor when people think your running 2 15"s and its a single 12"

you should be able to hear your mids/highs over your bass... I dont care how much bass you have your mids/highs should be sufficient... You can always try pro audio speakers... most are alot more efficient than car audio components and alot cheaper too. And they are much louder!!!

my prefrence is one over 2 subs. One quality sub will make you more than happy and when you start getting into 2 or more subs, you really have to start worrying about upgrading your battery, alternator etc. Plus guaranteed you need sound deadner.
