looking for a amp to power 2 12" audiobahn 1000 watt subs.....so according to the subs im looking for around 1000 wrms .....audiobahn rating (do they over rate, underrate, or pretty well on the money? )

i been looking through a few on ebay and id like your opinion of them and there name in general. (And just because im posting ebay links does not mean i will be buying off ebay!)

Im going with Hifonics only because ive had nothing but good experiences with them and seems to put out a nice amount of power

 

Do you have these subs already or are they in the crosshairs as a prospective purchase? They are drastically overrated for their power handling as well (and responsible for the global shortage of chrome).

If you have not purchased them yet, please pm some of the vendors on here before you do buy.

 

no ive already got the audiobahns....i purchased them a year or so ago but my ultimate fried so im looking for another amp to power them.... then i plan on upgrading to 1 or 2 nice SQ 10" 's down the road some time

 

Then buy the better quality amp now.....if you are planning that far ahead, get the amp that matches the quality of the next round of subs. Any amp will power the ones you have now.......

If nothing else it saves you buying another one next year.
