I suggest going with a new amp.

AyZe 02-08-2007 11:25 PM

its a kicker KX series.

DesolataX 02-08-2007 11:28 PM

Kicker makes nice stuff. Depends on your budget, if you can budget a better amp, go for it, if you can't, then leave it.

but like 370 watts per sub sounds like ass lol xscargo is louder @ 1/10th the price lol

How do you have them wired now?
You can do 4ohm DVC at 2ohm load, but that is just one sub, if you did 2 of those, it would bring the resistance down to 1ohm. You could do 1 VC from each sub into 2ohms, but then you wouldn't be using both subs full potential.

what is the model number of your amp?

AyZe 02-08-2007 11:37 PM

(i got no five key) kicker zx 1(five)00

AyZe 02-08-2007 11:41 PM

say A is positive and B is negative on 1 4 ohm sub that makes 2 ohm load
what if at the amp terminals u put 2 A's and 2 B's will this result in 1 ohm or double 2 ohm?

AyZe 02-08-2007 11:52 PM

and what happens if i run @ 1 ohm load?
