I have owned one, the BX 1205D, for 8 months now. I've had it running at 1.33 ohms and so far so good. I Swapped it with a RF power 10000bd(my cousins) just to hear if there was a difference...did not hear any. I paid 320.00 cdn with exchange, taxes, and broker fee(Canada Post), not too bad for a 1 kw+ amp, stable to 1 ohm. I also sold a BX 605 to my neighbour and he has had his for 6 months and loves it. As for actual power output, I don't know, but if I can't hear a difference between the RF and it, then it does not matter to me. I know it's pretty heavy and looks well built inside. Anyway, that's my first hand experience with them.
I own the Brutus 1500D Amplifier. It has done very well so far, no complaints. I would have to disagree with Shawn, I think that it puts out more power then it says it does. In saying that, Shawn is alot more knowledgable then myself. Either way its decent for what its made to do, and I havent heard anything bad about it.
