What do you think of these in a ported box for my crx ? I will be using a Zapco AG750 (2ohm stable)
So I need a dual 4ohm sub.

I'm running a single UR12 and I like it a lot. And it's not fully broken in yet. These UR series subs like to be ported. IF you are looking for opinions from users, you can search around on the web for opinions (Elitecaraudio or carsound). You can also try to talk to Steven Head or Scott Buwalda who are world champions and are using the UR series subs.
Now, I'm not sure about the pricing on the EA8's, but I bet they may be cheaper (also because they are on sale......... which is awesome). Then again it's an 8" versus a 10" if I'm reading that right. Also, looks as if the EA8 can be put in a seal box. The UR10 can also be put in a sealed box but does a lot better in a ported enclosure. So if you're looking to go sealed, the UR10 may not be the best choice. They both seem to be in the same power range as well. Don't see any efficiency specs on the EA8.

^^^^Good question. What I want to know is, did dawgsbreakfast send his right arm and left leg, right arm and right leg, left arm and right leg, or left left arm and left leg?
At this point he may not have had ears to listen to the subs either, I heard the P9 combo cost him something aweful.

I 've judged quite a few cars using the DLS UR series in IASCA shows.
Steve Head's car, Bill Acevedo, and some others.
For SQ it is s very good sub. We don't judge Sq at 150db so I can't tell you how good they sound loud.
Steve Head and Scott Buwalda both won IASCA finals this year using them.... and both always do well at shows, so it's not just one opinion that the DLS stuff works.
Plus if you want to make the UR look like the ea8 just add an over sized basket cover, and a over sized magnet cover............then again looks are nothing when it comes to sound rigth.
