If you are shopping in the bargain basement section of audio you most certainly have found it. Will it work, sure, will it do what you want it to? Find out, wirst thing that can happen is they are cheap, you blow them and find out that you need better.

Why dont you go listen to your buddy's stereo and make up your own mind.... If they have been reliable for him running that much power to them than I would say sure go with them. I would love to kno what kind of batteries your friend is using that he only needs 2 of them to back up 2 of those amps. If I were you tho I would take the $500 you are gonna spend on a pair of those and buy 1 really good sub from one of the many great vendors on this site.. but thats just my 2 cents I mean why would you want a much better woofer with tech support and a warranty.. but like I said thats just me

I had one in my car with an OPTI2000D monoblock and it has exceeded all my expectations. It was wired down to one ohm, was fed 1600 watts RMS daily and I have never had a problem with it. I highly recommend it. Have a look at my pics to see install.
PS : It has been implied that Lanzar does not make quality stuff. Those members are right to a certain extent. There are different product lines. The "OPTI" is their best (and my strongest recommendation) followed closely by the "Heritage" and then the "Vibe". Those are my recommendations.
Stay away from the "Viberant", "MXA" and "Max Pro". Those are products with highly inflated specs that will be sure to disappoint.

I would ignore most online stuff without a warranty as abuse leads to replacement and some of the eBay deals are too good to be true... I would also consider the retail route as the retailer can be your best friend. As for the TF1 I have never seen nor heard them in the US, if Yuli says they are good then they are (though I still would not necessarily want Yuli as my best friend)
