Opinions on touchscreen H/U?

I'm looking for opinions on touchscreen H/Us preferably under $1000. I'm not concerned about using it for any video inputs, only for playing music, radio, CD, MP3.

LMK what you think.

If you have one F/S shoot me an e-mail.

Thanks.

The thing I hate most about screens is the fan noise. You may not notice it in the showroom but in your nice quiet ride it was annoying enough to get rid of mine. Some are quieter than others but I'll stay with a nice "regular" deck from now on.

Just an FYI.

Thanks for that information, I had no idea there is a fan inside.

i've got alpine's latest touch screen, it doesn't make any noise that i can hear at all. Super quiet as far as i can tell, and i really like the pulse touch. Getting it for under $1k might be a small feat....but it's close to 1k i think.
