Thoughts on the 2 Pyramid PW1286 - 12 Inch Subs.
I can get them real cheep, brand new.

No...they are not good. Pyramid is one of the worst brands in car audio.

There is much better equipment to be had.....

I don't know how much you can or want to spend, but there are usually good deals in the for sale section here...

dude you know what everybody has had a not so great system at one time or another .You gotta start somewhere if thats what you can afford go for it just dont get discuraged when it doesnt pound as hard as you thought it would . but have fun thats all im saying crank it up and **** off the locals...

 

its not like they should be avoided like the plague... just don't try to give em 500 watts, or you'll end up with paperweights.....

 

if they are used as they were 'Designed' to be used, then they will function perfectly, it's when you expext them to deliver results that a hi end sub, or any piece of equipment for that matter, would; that's when you run into problems.
