I pick up 2 10's (non carbon) today for a good price and I was wondering if anyone had any info on them?

Which model number? the original NT's and even back when they were called SXTR's were carbon weave so I'm not sure which one's you're referring too. The original NT's and SXTR's were beautiful sounding drivers.
I have no experience with the NT2's.

probably are the NT2's, every other Ntense woofer was carbon.
Those were the first DVC woofer I ever ran into.

I wish i could hep you with this but I really don't know much about them other then I once had a pair that broke local spl records in Winnipeg at the time when i had them. never have i had a sub that sounded as good as those. I had them right behind my seat in my truck and the seam of the fabric on the back of my seat was rubbing on the outside rubber of the sub causing it to ware and I ended up with two big hols on both subs. I was pissed when I first noticed it but it really didn't effect it that much. I still used them for a wile before i got rid of them and whet with Boston pro. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, The NT was for sure the best sub I have ever owned.

the 2nt were not a very good design. they were the first orion speaker by the new engineer at the time with orion tom wethern.... unfortunatly everything he touched blew up!!!!! thats why they canned him with boston acoustics.. if you need to build a box for them go with a narrow bandpass design.... 1.2 ft............ sealed part .5ft and ported side .7ft. port to be 4x6long this box will handle 400 watts mechanical but should be used somewhere between 200 and 400w. if you need, get me your fax or email adress and i will send you complete build specs.
