48 hrs straight here, (well i did snooze for 2 hrs yesterday).
14 pieces, 2 coats of black base, a dusting of clear with prism flake, all the clear I had to bury the flake, and for my first ever paint job......I'm so freakin pleased!!! Yeah I know....worthless with no pics...but it's 7:20 am, and I'm going home, so I can wake up with my wife at 8 lol. Still have a Bud to finish....and those fumes....mmmm mmm. Pics by tomorrow....hang on to your chair! The PowerPlant is landing! Friday at 10:30 is the plan to roll 'er out....still have to install 3 amps, x-over, 2 screens, dvd, x-box, 2 subs, cap, a licence plate, wash, 4 6&1/2s, 4 tweets, deck, complete custom, and restored interior, some more damping, 6 black lights, 8 LEDs, the wildest window ever, a couple of strobes, flame mirrors on the headliner, (anyone know how to attach mirrored glass to a headliner?) get it running, and tweak it up.....ummm I think that's a days work. We did the Midnite Madness show last nite....rolled it out at 10:26 with a smoke machine and a strobe going.
There was a crowd of around a hundred people, watching us slam it together for the first time. We got it up and running, but a few last minute glitches to overcome, so no chance at all to tweak or tune.
