Just thought I would share this...I am redoing the front speakers in my car and pulled out the existing drivers but haven't gotten around to installing the new ones. So I threw some Paradigm Titan home speakers in the back seats for mids and highs...WOW!!! These things sound just awesome...obviously I have no imaging, soundstage etc. but the tonal qualities of these in the car are fantastic. I have them running off the front channels of a Rockford 750x, so they are only seeing 50 watts per, but they are loud and they are sweet.

Maybe you should just put drivers into your kicks. Replicate the enclosure in the form of a kickpanel.

 

I wish...you could never replicate the enclosure in kicks...wayyyyyyy too big...the midbass would never be the same...
