Phoenix Gold Octane R Comps
 

hey guy's, i was looking at these Comps and i was just wondering how bright this set will be ( havn't ordered yet)

here are the specs:

70/140W (RMS/PEAK) Power
5.25" (130mm) 2-way comp system
Frequency response: 60Hz-24kHz
Sensitivity: 89dB (1W/1M)
Injection molded aluminum plated grained polypropylene cone
Butyl rubber surround
Flat linear roll spider
Pivoting 11mm blue mylar tweeter diaphragm ( don't now how bright)
External 18dB/octave acoustic crossover

I'm just asking if they are bright because i won't order them if they are..

i would get the zrs or the xenon comps....the xenon tweets rnt bright at all..

hey turnstyle, Thanks for you suggestion, and sorry i posted in another forum as well. but i was wondering if you had experience with the ZR's and how do they sound compared to the Alpine type S Coax or is there really no comparison in the Mid-bass? i would just like to now seeing that there are no dealers around here that sell PG..

i had the alpine type s coax....i hated them...if u have them upgrading to a the zrs or the xenons would be great...i would get the xenons if u can...but zrs would be fine as well...just dont know how the tweets sound...

well i will go with the ZR's but with the silk dome tweeter i think they should be smooth sounding. hopefully..

i will update you diffenitly, it will probably be in about 2 weeks because the cheapest place i found was etronics.com and they say on there site 2 weeks in transit.. but i will update you for sure..
