I was wondering which setup I made would be louder. The first setup is if I had 4 Phoenix Gold RSd 10’s subs and 1 Hifonics BXi 2006D amp. and second is 2 Soundstream T4-12 subs and 1 Hifonics BXi 2006D amp. which would be louder and would it be louder then 2 12" alpine type x's and would it be louder then 2 12" kicker L7's. i will have the enclosure ported. thanks

 

I would say the the soundstream t4-12s, reason...they are dual 1 ohm driver. You can load that amp down...that amp likes it like that!!! And the t4-12 are rated at 3000 watts in 3 second bursts. They will take the beating of SPL comps and last longer...imo.

 

CAr, Box Size, Ohm level? All these factor in.. give a little more detail. Currently I have 2 12 L7's and they can get pretty loud.

I would consider a Digital Designs 35xx series. They would blow away any of those.

 

i have a plymouth acclaim with fold down seats and will build a custom box for the subs. and will run the subs in 1ohm to get the most out of that amp. and I am looking for subs that are around the price range of the soundstream and I could get 2 soundstreams for $300.00 US. and thats my max price with the subs.
