The TI amps are extremely good quality. I've been using my ti600.2 going of 7 years now. With no issues. Still one of the cleanest sounding amps I have heard.

I would pick up the roadster66 and call it a day.
Phoenix Gold RSD Roadster 66 Amp - Limited Edition - Review Amplifier - Car Audio and Electronics Magazine
Amps these days from what PG used to be is NOT the same. Not by a long shot.
This new breed of PG design is very similar to old school technology with new school electronics.

the roadster is a great amp I am not saying that its not at all but for what I want to do I can't power the sub(s) unless I got 2 of the them and ran the mono to each coil even then I don't think it would be enough power and the last thing that I want to do is under power a beast like that.

but here is a question would 2 of the 66's run that ti12" I don't think so but its a thought

650 x 1 into 2 ohms is good amount of power. I ran 500rms to a 1000rms/3000peak sub and it played just fine. Music is not always going to be 650watts.

now here is a question... do you think there is anyway that I would be able to run the mono off 2 of the 66 amps...1 to each voice coil on the sub or no?

I wouldn't....everything would have to be matched 100% inside the amps and the tolerances will be different.

I thought that might be the case but that 650 would run the sub ok or would it blow it up? I have seen and herd of so many people blowing up subs with under powering them
