Phoenix Gold titanium stuff still good?

I heard the Ti amps and they were hissy but it could of been the setup.

"hissy"? like alternator or brake noise? hmmm, I found them to be one of the best sounding(and looking) amps I've ever owned. Had it all in a fox body stang, no hissing.... ran the Ti500.4, 600.2, & 1200.1. That was a really nice setup.

for my set up idea I am torn between either 2 of the 66's or 4 of the ti 1000.2's and believe it or not they are going to cost me the same cash brand new in a box
