Ok i just installed my system it has 2 10 inch Kicker Comp C10's 4 OHM.

I am running a Pioneer 300 Watt MAX amp on each sub.

Each sub requires 300 watts max and 150 rms.

My friend told me to wire them like this, on the left side have the negative terminal hooked up and on the right have the positive, leaving the positve on the left empty and the negative ont he right empty. I believe that is called bridging.

Is this fine?

Will i blow my system up?

I have my gain set all the way also.

Thx

Sam

It could be right but it depends on exactly which model amplifier you have.
There should be "bridged" silkscreened onto the chassis right above the speaker terminals with lines pointing to which terminals are correct to bridge the amplifier.
Let me know which model you have before you turn it on as from what you described it's exactly BACKWARDS for the 2005 model.
