... what do you think? Buy the one you feel is more realistic if that is your purchase criteria. It doesnt matter what they think or I think, your opinion matters.

Alpine sucks *****! They breakdown too much, if you want Bluetooth, it's extra and doesn't work as well.

Alpine is the new Jensen.

That's right. They no longer have two years of warrantee and one less "0" in the model numbers.

They're still doing the high end thing quite well.

Assuming that you're comparing the INA-W900:

Between the two the Pioneer definately wins out of the gate.
When you add the Bluetooth and Imprint the Alpine works out to the same price. Then it's a pretty close game. I havnt had a whole lot of problems with either units yet.

I like using the GPS on the pioneer more however I like the ipod control of the Alpine more. The source selection overlay of the Pioneer actually bugs me quite a bit as well.

I've got an AVIC-Z1 and an Alpine INA-W900. There's things I like and dislike about both of them. I know the Z1 doesn't even come close to the Z120, but from my limited comparison I think the Alpine sounds better out of the box than any Pioneer or Premier I've tried (AVIC-Z1, DEH-790BT, and DEH980BT). Spend a LOT of time playing with whatever models you're thinking about before you buy one. There will be quirks with all of them that you'll like or dislike, in the end it's mostly about which one sounds the best to you and annoys you the least.
