Pioneer Component Speaker comparison
Hey guys,
I'm in the market for some 6.5" components and really like the Pioneers. I have a line on some Premier TS-C720PRS's, they were just discontinued from my research and the TS-D1720C's are they're replacement (I think). I was maybe thinking the new Stage 4 components are the new Premier?
Anyone think I should get the private sale (unopened) TS-C720PRS's or the D1720's from box store?
Cheers

the 720s are very very nice.. go to diymobileaudio.com and check out npdangs reveiw of them.. he is a very trusted and respected aqustical engineer and his word is very highly reguarded. as far as the difference from stage 4 to 720, well its minimal but they are a bit nicer sounding speaker, xover is more user friendly, and they are not as big, but you decide if 3x the money is worth it..

Thanks for the quick reply man...they do look sweet.
A new twist to the ultimatum after visiting a custom car audio shop...
Premier TS-C720PRS brand new private sale....$300
Premier TS-C160R brand new at car audio shop, clearance...$250 + tax (down from $399)
I'm dropping the D series 1720's as an option as I think these other 2 options are worth the extra coin.
I'm having trouble finding info on the C160R's (Rev series)...what's their story with how they rank in the Pioneer line? Seems weird that the reviews/specs are far between.
Thanks again
