Any other suggestions for a HU? Doesn't need anything special but must have USB connection. I plan to run an external EQ so these settings on the HU aren't that important to me. $300 from bestbuy, so around this price range.

Consider upgrading a little bit into the Premiere version. It adds the 2 year warranty and includes the additional cable that is not included with the 6900 version. Price is not that much different.

 

whats the additional cable your talking about? not that they usually know much, but the employee there told me that the usb hook-up was included with the 6900.

I should clariify this, both units include the USB cable, the Premiere includes the IPOD direct cable.
