Pioneer DEH-P4200UB reviews?

just wondering what people are thinking about this HU, i see it's on sale at best buy for 159.99 right now and from what i've seen looks like a good deck.

any thoughts or has anyone used one?

They are really nice decks. Easy to use, lots of output to amps, intuitive iPod integration...
It's got everything but Bluetooth & time alignment.

well that's good to hear, i assume time alignment is more geared for sound quality guys?

Good deck i just sold my avh-p5000dvd and got into a deh-p4200ub, 3 sets of 4 volt preouts is what i was really looking for in the deck, works good, sounds good. Nothing to complain about..

i ended up buying it the other day and getting it installed that night. i'm really happy with it so far and so nice to be able to put in music i just downloaded instead of burning a cd! i also like that you can turn the display off for night driving.

my only dislike is the rotary **** is picky. if you want to hit the center button, it will sometimes move to the left, right, top or bottom instead.

but most i just need to learn how it works better and i will get the hang of it.

I got 1 last year DEH-P5200UB.
I felt the same about the rotary button. It took a while to accustom the handling otherwise you kept hitting the wrong function.
Excellent sound quality & with all the high volt pre-out.
Good choice.
