Planet Audio

I have a friend that works for a shop that carries Planet Audio products. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the M6 component set, the NEO component set and the New planet audio decks.
I am able to get a smoking deal on a Deck, but I am not sure if they are any good. It's the top of the line CD Reciever by Planet Audio.
As well, the component sets I can get a nice deal on, and I'm considering one of the 2 listed.
Thanks for your input,
Craig G

The ones I am looking at say 8 volt preouts. Not sure if that is Max or RMS. They are also 70 watts x 4 which is kinda cool. I've never had power in a deck before, my unit has always been a dead head.
Which one of the head units are you getting? And have you heard any of the component sets? Just wondering which ones and how you liked them.

Ok if they are 5 volts that is fine. Good to know. I guess it must have been a printing error because I was looking at his book today. It's an early book though so it makes sense.
Planet just started making head units so I'm a little skeptical.
I have a Pioneer Premiere DEX-P78 right now, has 3 4 volt preouts and is a golden oldie. Not too sure if the planet will be an improvement or not. My deck was great for it's time (4+ years ago) but I'm not sure how it holds up to today's standards.
I can get the top line CD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3 deck for 299 which I think is an amazing deal compaired to the going rate of 500-800 dollars for a decent head unit.

Thanks, one more thing then. Do you know which/ if any units play MP3's? and do they also play WMA's etc? I am having trouble finding a good source of info on it.
