I may trade a guy my MTX 6500D and 8302 + $100 cash for this amp. Your input would be great.

That is a pretty even trade. I have heard decent reviews of that amps, and it usually goes for about 450 used.

I guess it depends on your application. You have 2 great amps.

I have use those amps in a few systems, how much more bass do you want?

 

Just don't run it lower than 2ohms, sounds like a good trade though, as long as it still has the 5 year warranty.

They aren't the most reliable amps, but planet will give ya the new model if it goes, and they are alot more stable. I know guys running the newer ones as low as .35-.5ohm daily beliwve it or not.

 

I'ts not about the bass. I'ts for compitition. With the new rules this year, wattage is unlimited in street A, so it will be tough. I'm getting frustrated, I'm at the point where I'm going to say screw it and not compete. I love my amps and I dont really want to give them up but I dont have cash to by amps.

For SPL competition? that would be the only reason why you would consider that.
