On the topic of stuffing boxes, and the whole exo endo thermic ness of it all, if the stuffing absorbs heat, in a sealed box, could there be an issue with the heat being absorbed having no where to dissipate and causing an overheating problem?

Anyone find any bad effects of stuffing a box?
