I keep blowing fuses on my amp phoenix tantrum 500.2 i have tested the power line and that is working fine, would this be due to a poor ground connection???

I tested it and it read .3 ohms, is that a strong enough ground? the amp just didn't start up one morning, i have disconnected the speaker wires so that it is just the power ground and remote lead, and every time i start it up it blows the fuses.

a bad ground will not cause your amp to blow fuses
to low of a load
driving a short to ground or baked speakers
or reverse polatity on you power input
or a blown amp will blow fuses
if you remove your speaker wires from the amp and you positive and negative are right
your amps poofed
fried
baked

ok your amp is bad

but still on the topic of ground wire, your looking for 12volts on the ground wire with engine off and around 14volts with the engine on, thats a perfectly good ground location
