Are you going to ride off your roof?!!
Seriously, try it. I know A guy with a Rocky Mountain Flow who jumped off the roof of a Shopper's drugmart.
The Guy is nuts and managed to snap the frame by the bottom bracket.
What kind of Bike is that?
What is the fork and how much travel?
Are you a serious extreme rider? </font>[/QUOTE]Jumping off a roof doesn't have much point. Especially if its to a flat landing. Maybe if it had some sort of transition, it would be doable.
As far as the bike, its an 04 Norco Atomik. The fork is a Marz Jr.T and it has 7 inches of travel. The rear has 6. The bike is actually a pretty entry level downhill/free ride bike. Most guys out there spend 3-6+ grand easy. I only spendt 2k. As far as "extreme" rider, I would love it if that word was never used to describe a sport ever again. I ride alot of resorts where they have lift accessed riding and such. Pedaling isn't my thing.

"Extreme" How else would you describe 50 ft long jumps over a 100 foot gorge? That's pretty freakin' extreme. So from what you said you're not a nutso rider - you just like a good downhill run.
Nice bike though. I look forward to the day I can afford to up-grade my X-country Marin.
