Power selector for camper bus radio 12v/120v

I have a '78 VW Westfalia and it has the ability to plug in to a power source. I was wondering if there is a way to have a power selector switch for my radio so that it can run on the battery when I am driving and I can switch it to run off the power when I am parked and pluged in. Thanks

i dont know anyway you can do this because your deck will obviosly not run on 120 volts....you could add a battery charger (that plugs into your 120 volt power source) to your van so when you are parked and hooked up to power and running your stereo it will keep your battery topped up:)

you could also add a 120 volt stereo system that would work on normal power when you are parked and then you would use an inverter to run it while you are driving:smilie_da
