Basically what I'm wondering is if anyone has owned the newest PCX line? Are they as good as previous line of gunmetal/chrome models (the model line escapes me at the moment)? Just wondering other's thoughts and opinions, I'm looking to experiment with this equipment.

Edit: I'm currently confused whether the PC or the PCX is the most current line.

PCX are the new current amps, and they are crazzy. Ive heard them and they are good as the olds.

I owned the PPI PCX 4125 and I would run the PG titanium line over it NE day, I regreted changing from my ti's to the PCX line.

yeah Id say the TI is better than that

I would be looking at an AB amp that will be bridged to run a sub such as the PCX2400, yes, the big-ass one that does 1600 RMS at 4 ohm. hahaha I found some available for a good deal, so I just wanted some info.

...btw what PG Ti amps were these (model number)? Sounds like you were using them for mid/treble range rather than subs.

I had the PG 600.2 running my sub and the 500.4 running fronts and rears.

As far as large sub amps go I would look at the
PG ti 1000.2
as well as the PPI PCX2600

both are great amps, I just prefer the ti's but the run hot also I would look stongly at the xtant 1001D, that is an amazing piece, alot of work to set up and very precise. look into it, but if you have a line on the PPI it is a great amp get it
