I looked at that picture but it only has one + and - per side, but my subs will have two + and - per side per sub. So thats four + and - a sub. I just wanted to make sure that the wiring I do will be correct for a 1ohm load. |
Here is a picture with no wires, maybe one of you can draw them in on paint for me. I just wanna be safe.

??? dual voice coil subs only have 2 coils so there's only 1+ and 1- per side
what subs do you have |
Oh, theres only one + and - per side?
Well the Audiobahn 12s I just sold had 4 + and 4 - per sub, 2 a side. I just bought (2) 12" Alpine SWR-1242D's. |
That would be a 4vc sub, and you have dvc subs now. So wire it like the JL pic says.
|
pelsh, your subs had this many terminals for the sole purpose of making differing connections easier. IE: series or parallel to other subs. What each sub has is pairs of + and pairs of - on each side. These screws are connected to each other, yu can use one or the other or both depending on the wiring configuration.

All positive wires to positive amp terminal and all negative wires to the negative amp terminal.
That should simplify it. |
