PYLE subwoofers..
A teacher at my school bought a new house and found a 15 inch PYLE driver subwoofer in a box while he was going through it. Says its rated for 2000 watts or sumthing. anyways he gave it to me and i am contemplating putting it in my car. Are they any good? I have never heard of them before.

They might be pretty decent if they are really really old haha. Probably way behind in specs in comparison to new subs. Model number would help.

it looks like this, and apparently it 1600 watts rms and 3200 max, Could my rockford fostgate 600 watt amp even move this thing?

more like PYLE of sh.t . lol any car audio that i can buy at london drugs needs sum help lmfao.
but hell if its free use it :) nothing better than free |
Your rockford will probably more that power that. I wouldnt trust the ratings on that thing at all man.
But hey, it's a free sub, have fun. Sometimes the free subs sound the best :D But as mentioned, you can buy them at london drugs. And they aren't the best. |
i wouldnt be surprized if the rockford over powers it lol :eyes:
|
will it pound at all? right now i got a weak ass mtx thunder 6000 sub that is rated at 250 rms and 500 peak. will i just be wasting my time putting it in?
|
it will prolly have more output but the sq will be pure crap lol
|
yeah, if it sounds good you can always use it as a winter setup.
or you can just plug it into a wall socket. |
